What is composite rebar? Composite rebar is a full-fledged analogue of steel rebar, designed for use in challenging and corrosive environments. It is corrosion-free, has high tensile strength, excellent durability, and is 4x lighter than steel. The lightweight nature of composite rebar makes it cheaper to transport and is quicker to install. Composite rebar is often used in infrastructure projects.

The main distinguishing feature is the thickness of the fiberglass thread.
Many manufacturers use a thread thickness of 4800 tex to reduce the cost and simplify the production process.

Such technology reduces the number of threads in the composite rod. Respectively reducing the important characteristics of the material.

Our production allows using thread thicknesses of 600 and 1200 tex. It helps to increase the impregnation of fiberglass with resins, which is the most important feature of the strength and weight of the fiberglass rebar.

Durability and lightness

The weight of composite rebar is almost 10 times less than that of equivalently replaceable steel rebar, but at the same time, its resistance to destructive action is almost 3 times higher.
