REBAR - the first Ukrainian manufacturer of GFRP bent elements.

GFRP bent elements are made of glass fibers embedded in the resin; and they can take any size and shape: circles, rhombuses, triangles and squares.
Usually, it is made according to the customer's sizes using chemically resistant E-glass fiber, a special composition of epoxy resins on anhydride and amine hardeners using quartz coating technology. The spiral is formed by pulling the rod in the dies, followed by winding with an anchoring layer, applying a quartz coating, winding on the mold and polymerizing the product, which determines its excellent physical and mechanical characteristics. Due to the applied quartz coating and anchoring layer, the element has excellent adhesion to concrete. The structural lattice frame is formed by stretching the spiral and attaching reinforcing bars to it internally at the corners of the product.
Some of the characteristics of our bent elements:fiber content - 83-86 percentdensity not less than 2.1 * 103 kg / m3corrosion resistanceradio transparencylight weighservice life - 80-100 yearsrod diameter: 4-14 mm

Advantages:Non-corrosiveNon-conductiveNon-magnetizable Lifespan of up to 80 years6 times lighter than steel
Welding of fiberglass rebars is not possible due to the dielectric properties of the material, and therefore for the reinforcement of angles, bent elements should be used.

Sphere of applying bent elements:

The ability to use fiberglass bent elements opens up various possibilities for its use in construction and engineering projects. For instance, in construction projects, fiberglass bent elements can be used to reinforce curved or non-linear elements such as arches, domes, and unique architectural designs. Also, it can be used to reinforce damaged or weakened sections.
GFRP bent elements are mostly used to:- To increase the durability of constructions made of reinforced concrete- To reinforce a wide range of items (reinforcing floors, roads or roads plates)- To strengthen the corner and sections of constructions, at the interface points of critical elements.
